Merit Badge of the Month
This months merit badge of the month is Climbing. Climbing is a fun and chanllenging merit badge that will allow both your older scouts and your younger scouts to participate. Many gyms, parks and youth centers have rock walls that are available for use.Just remember that some rock walls are harder and more chanllenging than others and it is important to find one that suits your scout troop needs. My scout troop practices on a small rock wall and then once they feel comfortable we take a day trip to a bigger rock wall.
